Can anyone share their retirement experiences in Albuquerque? I understand COL is reasonable, but how about healthcare and crime? ABQ gets a bad reputation for crime, such as auto theft.
Is Albuquerque and New Mexico the “Land Of Enchantment” or the “Land Of Entrapment?”

I always wonder about retirement in ABQ. I used to do a lot of business in Santa Fe & ABQ and always liked it there. Great weather and food. But, some spots of ABQ are a bit sketchy. And I remember lots of crime there.
Would love some insider information.
